Web Site Design
We have the technology to build virtually anything online. From e-commerce enabled storefronts with integrated back-end inventory tracking and fulfillment to database development, information syndication and more. Intranets, extranets, programmed in Flash, XML, HTML, CSS, Perl, Java - you name it. So what. The technology isn't the point. The point is to establish clear goals and objectives for being online. Then develop the appropriate Web presence to achieve those goals and objectives.
E-commerce Web site drives high margin sales
epr devised and developed this e-commerce Web site for BackyardPoolProducts.com
as the foundation for the launch of this online retailer of pool/spa and
backyard products. As a new company with no name brand recognition whatsoever,
this Web site features a series of elements that establish credibility as
a reputable company while minimizing the perception of risk in buying from
the company. For example, the company emphatically states customer names
are never to be rented or sold at any time, that its products come with
a warranty and that they may be returned. The names of recognizable brands
are included wherever appropriate and the custom shopping cart offers substantial
clarity and ease. The site was designed with flexibility to permit additions,
changes and expansions, such as the recently unveiled Event Décor and Clearance
sections, without requiring a major redesign.
Web
site launches automated conveying technology epr devised and developed
this Web site at AutomatedWasteCollection.com
as the cornerstone of a launch strategy introducing automated waste and
linen handling systems for conveying refuse and soiled linens in healthcare,
hospitality and other facilities. Working without any photography, completed
installations or even a finished product, epr worked with Client Precision
AirConvey (PAC) to present the company as a reputable, credible organization
with 30 years of experience in manufacturing and installing pneumatic conveying
technology for Fortune 500 customers around the world. A dramatic illustration
revealing how the automated waste collection system operates in a large
facility was developed along with a series of illustrations that explain
what the systems do in a step-by-step, easy to understand style. As an integrated
marketing campaign, epr also worked with PAC to develop a companion brochure,
Power Point presentation, trade show presence, advertising and direct mail
program.
Segmentation strategy targets multiple markets
To position MOD as a leader within specific, target markets, epr recommended
the development of industry-specific Web sites, all sharing a single,
unifying design. Containers were featured at ShipShapeContainers.com,
laundry products at MODLaundry.com,
custom services at Rotomolding.com,
chemical products at Modroto.com/ibc
and other products were shown at other industry-specific Web sites. A
corporate umbrella site at Meeseinc.com
coordinated them together. This site relied not on flaming buttons to
stir interest but on relevant information presented with credibility and
a smooth, professional appearance that instilled confidence. Smart navigation
seemed to anticipate viewers' every move within the site.
Web site presents capital equipment
epr devised and developed this Web site with Alpha Lehigh as part of a launch introducing the company's hydraulic metal compacting press rebuilding service. The Web site serves as the foundation of an integrated marketing campaign comprising the design and development of the company's identity strategy including the logo, tagline and corporate colors as well as a companion print brochure, advertising, trade show display and both location and studio photography. The site presents the case for rebuilding aging powder metal compacting presses and adding Alpha Lehigh's modern control technology rather than investing in all-new machinery. The site was designed for flexibility to permit expansion, which proved fruitful for the company launched its own line of new hydraulic compacting presses shortly after the site's launch. epr worked closely with the company to develop the series of illustrations representing each model in the line of machinery since the presses had not been manufactured at the time.
